This song is dedicated to my native and beloved state of California. In the ancient tales of California, this wondrous land was originally thought to be an island, inhabited by a group of Amazon women and led by the beautiful Queen Calafia. She was a great warrior and leader of these remarkable women who ruled the isle of Califia, thus the romantic namesake - California.
