This song came together on a visit to Avalon, Santa Catalina Island, California. I would spend every morning drinking coffee at Gallagher's on Avalon Bay. Something about the tropical setting, the potent espresso beans and the balmy morning breeze triggered this melody.

I dedicate "Journey Of The Flame" to my friend and red-haired musical mentor, John Wimber, whose life was an inspiration to so many.
