BLUE LATITUDE is a West Coast group that has found a solid niche performing primarily at clubs, concert halls, festivals and venues related to the growing wine culture along California's Central Coast. They have been the featured performers with Sunset Magazine's SAVOR THE CENTRAL COAST events for many years.

The group is led by composer & multi-instrumentalist RANDY RIGBY, a 2013 Grammy Nominated Songwriter & Platinum Awarded producer who founded the group in 2007. The other members are lead vocalist & guitarist NATALY LOLA and PAUL RIGBY who plays keyboards, guitars and provides additional lead vocals. Frequently, the band is expanded to include bassist JIM FLETCHER and STEVE HILSTEIN, drums and percussion.

The group's sound has been compared to Sade, Sergio Mendes, Santana and Steely Dan. Their music is a delicately mixed blend of subtle Latin nuances, Lennon-McCartneyisms, some Mancini, here and there a touch of Bacharach, cool, minor chords, danceable up-beat, gentle laughter and a little sex.

Blue Latitude's debut CD, "El Encanto" was released in early 2007. The album features mostly original compositions with funky Latin-tinged rhythms, soulful vocals and dramatic arrangements. Highlights include the scorching title track "El Encanto" and the sultry cover of the Crusaders "Soul Shadows".

They are currently recording their second album in Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo, California.
